Show us your Skeppi!
There is no question that Skeppshult produce high quality bicycles with that unmistakable Scandinavian design people love. Ultimately however Skeppshult build bicycles that are designed to be ridden. With that in mind we have come up with our new competition.
We want you to send in pictures of your "Skeppi" taken at your favourite spot. Don’t have a Skeppshult bicycle? If you hire a Skeppshult bicycle from the Mud Factory then you will be able to enter since you did have a “Skeppi” for a day. It could be a picture along your favourite bike path, at your special beach, outside your regular cafe or even in front of a famous local landmark. We want to see how you use your bike, even if it's just to pick up the mail at the end of a long driveway. The photo can be of you and your "Skeppi" or just the bike by itself. At the end of each month we will judge the pictures you send in and the one we like the best will receive that month's prize. Scroll down the page to see the winning entries.
Everyone who enters the "Show us your Skeppi!" competition will receive a reprint of an original classic Skeppshult poster (40cm x 30cm) from the early 1950s or a Birgitta Lindeblad postcard (15cm x 16cm). Birgitta has a fantastic sense of humour and is famous for her curvaceous ladies and capturing the feelings of the west coast of Sweden.
March 2009
The prize for March is your choice of either our special basket bag which has been designed by us and handmade by Emotional Baggage (valued at $169) or a Skeppshult pack which consists of a Skeppshult t-shirt and a Shimano floor pump (valued at $148). The great thing about the Shimano floor pump is that it has fittings for 3 types of valves, Presta, Schrader and the traditional valve from Schwalbe which all Skeppshult bicycles have. Closing date for submissions is Tuesday 31st of March at 5pm.

February 2009 Winner
Belinda from Sydney is the February winner with a picture of her Nova Comfort Automat in front of her school. Being a teacher means she always has a lot of things to carry which she finds is not a problem on her Nova Comfort Automat. Belinda chose the Skeppshult pack as her prize.

March 2009 Winner
Paula from the N.S.W south coast is our March winner with her entry of another Nova Comfort Automat tacken at Cullburra Beach which as she says "can carry all my fishing equipment". Paula has chosen the Skeppshult pack as her prize.
Paula's photo actually reminds us a lot of how a Skeppshult bicycle would be used in Sweden. It's very common for a Skeppshult bicycle to be ridden from a little red summer house along a dirt road to the ocean or nearby lake for a daily swim.
